Plot:

Shortly before Christmas the pretty criminal Freddy finds after a shooting a hiding place at his friend Reverent Rehder, who harbor him in the bell tower of his church. Rehder's daughter, 17 year old Laura, discover him by chance. Freddy and Laura fall in love. Lauras father, torn between faith, moral, friendship and the love of a father, faces a hard decision, when he finds out, just on Christmas eve.
