A famous surgeon named Nino, who came to the village, is requested to perform the operation. She recognizes her ex-husband Akia is the wounded person and now her difficult past is there before her eyes: Almaskhan's son Akia raped orphaned Nino. She and her real love Giorgi cannot be together. Life becomes monotonous for her. Almaskhan makes his son marry Nino, but Akia - hater of the Soviet Union soon disappears in Turkey. Neither Almaskhan is able to endure the oppression from Bolshevists - he burns the house and tries to run but dies in a fire. Also Nino's little child dies during this conflagration. She leaves this village and goes to the city to begin new life and becomes a doctor.
