Plot:

During the 19th century war-bands of Ottoman Turks operating from Vidin across the Danube river come into Wallachia to pillage,enslave,murder and destroy with impunity.Wallachia's Phanariote rulers don't oppose the raids and some even collude with the Turks for their own personal benefit.A local band of patriotic Wallachian highwaymen decide to take action.They seek, attack and destroy the Turkish raiders at every opportunity.Lady Haricleea Hangerli,wife of current Wallachian ruler Hangerli Voda,colludes with Turkish Pasha Pazvanoglu to raid Wallachia in order to bring about her husband's downfall and replace him with her son.Pazvanoglu agrees with her plan,in exchange for the spoils from his raids in Wallachia.However,the brave band of local highwaymen led by Captain Amza does not intend to sit idle while the Turks are raiding their lands.
