The Grand Duchy of Finland was an autonomous part of the Russian Empire until 1917, when the Russian revolution caused the fall of the Empire. On December 6, 1917 Finland declared it's independence. The people of Finland sent an omnipotent delegation to meet with Lenin and the Bolsheviks.
